DIPLOMA IN MACHINE TOOL TECHNOLOGY
Machine tool technology encompasses several skill areas, such as blueprint reading, drill press, lathe, milling machine, and grinding operations. Within the trade there are also areas which use computer technology for design, production and inspection.
Department of Machine Tool Technology is sub branch of Mechanical engineering and special more study about the tool related technology this technology has good future because evey machine like lathe, CNC Machine, Boring, Drilling etc operation must need the tool so this machine tool technology is specially more study about tool related terminology design of tool and structure etc. machine tool technology good future in coming days.

Eligibility
- As per the norms laid down by Director of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka
- Non-Karnataka students should obtain Eligibility Certificate issued by the Department of Technical Education, Govt. of Karnataka
- Karnataka students who have passed class X in ICSE or CBSE should also obtain Eligibility Certificate issued by the Department of Technical Education, Government of Karnataka
- Duration : 3 Years (6 Semesters)
- Intake : 45 Seats
- Under Lateral Entry Scheme
- 20% seats Reserved for III Sem BE Course in respective branches for Diploma Holders Reservation of seats
- 15% seats are reserved for Schedule Caste and 5% for Schedule Tribes students as per the norms of Director of Technical Education Government of Karnataka.
